Set what your Finder Windows Open To

Learn how to set what a new Finder window opens up to by default.

By default, when you open a new Finder window, it shows your your recent items no matter which folder they are in. You can change this to open to a specific folder instead. This could be your Home folder, Desktop folder, or a folder that you create. In this video for the Mac, I show you how this works by setting new Finder windows to open to my Home folder instead of showing my recent items.
