Discover the Latest App Changes: How to Check App Version History on Your Mac

In this video, I’m going to show you how to view the version history of an app that has been downloaded from the Mac App Store. Checking out the version history of an app can be incredibly helpful, since it can allow you to discover new features.

To check out the version history of an app, you first need to open up the Mac App Store. Once you’re in the App Store, you can go over to the “Updates” section in the sidebar to see your recent updates and what has changed. This can include new features, bug fixes, and other improvements that the developer has implemented.

However, if your app isn’t in the recent updates, you can still find it in your account and view the version history. To do this, go to your account and look at all of your different apps. Find the app you’re interested in and click on it. You should be able to see the version history, which will show you all of the changes that have been made to the app over time.

This can be a great opportunity for developers to show you what’s new or what has changed, so keep an eye out for that. In some cases, you might see just standard bug fixes, but in other cases, the developer will use this as an opportunity to showcase new features and improvements that they’ve added to the app.

For example, in the video, I show you the version history for the app “Toolbox for Pages,” which has a number of different templates for the Pages app. When I click on it, I can see that it was updated three days ago and included several UI fixes. This is a great way for me to assess whether the changes made will be able to help me use the app more efficiently.

In conclusion, knowing how to check the version history of an app that you’ve downloaded through the App Store on the Mac is an important skill that can help you stay up-to-date with the latest features and bug fixes. By following these simple steps, you can easily view the version history of any app and stay informed about any changes that have been made.
