The Apple TV+ psychological thriller “Surface” is to get a second run, with its lead character relocating to London in her attempt to uncover her past.
“Surface” recounted the story of Sophie (star and executive producer Gugu Mbatha-Raw), who has extreme memory loss following what appeared to be a suicide attempt. The first season saw her trying to uncover and understand her true identity, while the second is to see take her to London, and further back into her past.”This is really a brand new chapter set in a whole new world,” said series creator Veronica West. “I can’t wait for people to see how the show evolves as we explore an emboldened, fearless Sophie in season two.”
