Overall, the Clipboard on your Mac, iPad, or iPhone is great. You need to copy something from one place to anther, you use Copy and Paste. You can do this with text, images, links, and even documents. But it is limited. The Clipboard can only copy one thing at a time. If you’ve copied something, and then you copy something else, that first thing you copied is now gone forever! What happens if you need something you copied from yesterday, or even last week? You install a Clipboard Manager like Paste. Paste keeps everything you’ve copied for 30 days. You can even place them in folders or Pinboards to keep them indefinitely, so you can use them over and over. It even syncs with your iPad and iPhone!
There are plenty of Clipboard apps out there that can do this, and some can even do more. I personally use Paste. It’s simple, it does what I need, and it looks good! Take a look at how Paste works in this short tutorial.
