Learn about the different options available for creating an offsite backup.

In this lesson for Backing Up on the Mac, I show you the different options available for creating an offsite backup. With an offsite backup, you store a backup offsite. This way, if something catastrophic were to happen at your home or office, and your Mac and Time Machine backup were destroyed, you’d still have a backup, because it was stored offsite. You can do with Time Machine, by moving a Time Machine backup offsite, or with 3rd party solutions. I go over how these options work and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
