In this lesson for Photos on the Mac, I cover how to reduce or remove red-eye from a photo in the Photos app. First I demonstrate how to locate the “Red-eye” tool in the “Edit” menu, then I demonstrate how to remove or reduce the red-eye for a photo using a brush-like tool. Photos also has an “Auto” red-eye removal button. This button will appear anytime you are editing a photo taken with a flash. I recommend using this “Auto” button before trying to edit the red-eye out of the photo yourself. If the “Auto” red-eye removal isn’t enough, then use the brush tool to finish editing the photo.
