In this tip, I will show you how you can show the path bar and a Finder window would the path bar; what we’re able to do is see the folder’s path when it is selected. Let’s see how we do this. Let’s go to my Mac. The first thing we need to do is we need to open up a new Finder window. So I’m going to go up to my finder here, and I’m going to go over to file and new Finder window.
Now, what I’m going to do is I’m going to select on my documents folder. Now I’m not sure where this folder is. How do we find out where it is? Will all we have to do is go up to view, and you’re going to see show path bar, and then down at the bottom of the window, you’re going to see the path. So this particular folder, the documents, folders located in Dan’s Tutorials, which is also located in the user’s folder.
When I go over to downloads, I can see that my downloads folder is located in dance tutorials. So that’s how we can show the path are in a Finder window on the Mac.
