And this tip, I’m going to show you how you can change the position of the Dock on the Mac. Let’s go to my Mac. Now, as you know, the Dock is located at the bottom of your display. Well, what we can do is we can change the position. We can have a place to vertically on your display’s left side or the right side of your display to do this.
What we need to do is we need to go to our System Preferences. So I’m going to go up underneath my Apple menu and select System Preferences from here. The System Preferences will open up and now what we need to do is we need to go to Dock under Dock. We have all of the different preferences for the doc, including the position on the screen.
You can see that we can place it on the left side, bottom, or right side of my display. And by default, we can see it as on the bottom. So let’s go and place it on the right side of my display. I select right. And now, my doc is on the right side of my display. So that’s how we can change the position of our Dock on our Mac.
We open up our System Preferences and then go to the Dock preference pane. From there, you can select where you want your Dock on your display. You can select from the left side, right side, or at the bottom. So that’s how we select where we want our Dock on our Mac.
