Since the iPhone with Face ID lacks a Home button, how do you switch between open apps? You used to press twice for the app switcher, but being an iPhone with Face ID doesn’t have a Home button, you’ll need to switch apps in a different way. Don’t worry, it’s still easy, I actually find I like it better. To bring up the app switcher, all you do is swipe up from the bottom of the screen to about halfway, and then pause until the app thumbnails appear. The key is the pause. When you swipe up and pause, you’ll see all your open apps as cards. You can then scroll through your launched apps by swiping horizontally and switch to an app by tapping its thumbnail. While in the app switcher, you can also force-quit a frozen app: just swipe up on the app card to force quit it.Alternatively, you can skip the app switcher entirely. Just swipe right on the very bottom of the screen to switch to the previous app. Swiping left switches to the next app. Hope that helps!
